Abstract:
Within architecture, sound is rarely considered in the early phases of the design process. This lack of acoustic understanding leads to sound being the result of design rather than the purpose of a design. This thesis explores acoustic characteristics and the physical representation of sound in space to aid in the development of an acoustic spatiality.
